The Creation or Evolution Debate: A Vital Issue for Today's Church

by Anthony Dallison

This important and vital issue regarding the Creation/Evolution debate is not only a vital one for the Church in the 21st Century but is coming increasingly to the fore even in scientific circles as more and more 'honest' scientists and evolutionists are being faced with the facts of evolution's inadequacy to explain the origin of the universe and of all animate life within it.

Let me begin by reminding you of the well-known words of Genesis 1:1, 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth'. This often-memorized opening verse of the Book of Genesis has been the answer, from the beginning of recorded history until recent times, to man's question 'How did the cosmos begin?' But today, in an age of skepticism and unbelief which has inherited the rationalistic criticism of the Bible from way back in the nineteenth century along with the so-called 'indubitable findings' of modern science, can we say that statement is still relevant in this computer space-age? Is this a valid and believable account of our origins?

Through the Lattice
by Neil McKinlay

An adventurous, captivating and poetic memoir of the author's courageous and spiritual journey—from Scotland to Canada to Australia—in his quest to "find the Truth and know the living God." Neither an apologetic nor a polemic, he corrects much misinterpretation and misunderstanding of Freemasonry. We learn how inspiration from Masonic teachings about Solomon's Temple, the arch, and keystone led him to a deep study of the revelation from the Bible of the "stone the builders rejected" which is Christ. Readers will be uplifted, inspired, and delighted as they follow along with him in the discovery of his calling to become a minister.

The History & Theology of Calvinism
by William J. Federer

Rich in graphics, dramatic vignettes, and biblical analogies, Amazing Grace The History and Theology of Calvinism features many of the finest thinkers of our time: Dr. R.C. Sproul, Dr. D. James Kennedy, Dr. George Grant, Dr. Stephen Mansfield, Dr. Thomas Ascol, Dr. Thomas Nettles, Dr. Roger Schultz, Pastor Walt Chantry, Dr. Joe Morecraft, Dr. Ken Talbot, Pastor Walter Bowie, and Dr. R.C. Sproul, Jr.

This DVD will answer many questions such as:

  • What is Calvinism?
  • Does this teaching make man a robot and God the author of sin?
  • What about free will
  • If the Church accepts Calvinism wont evangelism be stifled, perhaps extinguished?
  • How can we balance Gods sovereignty and mans responsibility?
  • What are the differences between historic Calvinism and hyper-Calvinism?
  • Why did men like Augustine, Luther, Calvin, Spurgeon, Whitefield, Edwards, and a host of evangelists deny the Arminian definition of free will and label it heresy?
  • Why did the Roman Catholic Church condemn the Reformed teaching of predestination and election and embrace free will theology?
  • And why do so many Protestants, perhaps unwittingly, agree with Rome on this issue?
  • Hosted by Eric Holmberg (Hells Bells 1 & 2; The Massacre of Innocence), this fascinating three-part, four-hour plus presentation is detailed enough so as to not gloss over the controversy.

Ten sessions. Great for Sunday school or Bible study. Study Guide also available.

A Word In Season Vol. 1A Word In Season Vol. 1
by R. J. Rushdoony

These daily messages on the faith for all of life are unlike any compilation of Christian "devotional" ever published. In these pages, you won't find the overly introspective musings of a Christian pietist; what you'll discover are the hard-hitting convictions of a man whose sole commitment was faithfulness to God's law-word and representing that binding Word to his readers.

The multi-volume series is taken from over 430 articles written by Rushdoony over the span of 25 years (1966-1991) for the California Farmer, an agricultural periodical that provided him a regular column entitled "The Pastor's Pulpit." It has long been a desire of many to see these insightful and challenging articles published in a book format. We're happy to announce that the wait is over. Read and enjoy!
