How to Protect Yourself from Ebola

Americans are living in Panic City over Ebola thanks to the now-lethal incompetence of Obola Obama.

He has allowed his fascist political ideology to become homicidally criminal.  He refuses to close our southern border from illegal invasion causing epidemics and to bar entry to anyone from Ebola-stricken countries as that would be the failure of his Amnesty goal of millions of new Democrat voters.

Yesterday (10/15), the Los Angeles Times reported the emergence of yellow fever mosquitoes capable of additionally transmitting lethal dengue and chikungunya fevers in LA’s illegal alien epicenter of Pico Rivera.  That happens to be where the gigantic Mexican consulate for LA is located.

Hundreds of children in 46 states have been infected with Enterovirus D-68, with seven deaths reported by the CDC as of 10/15.  As Jack Kelly notes today (10/16):

“There are more than 100 enteroviruses, ranging from the common cold to polio. EV D-68 has been very rare here. (But) EV D-68 is common in Central America, from whence came the flood of illegal immigrant children. The outbreak was first reported in communities to which they were sent.  CDC refuses to connect the dots.  Why won’t it?”

Now add the Ebola Panic to this.  Ebola is being called Obama’s Katrina for good reason.  The frightening incompetence of Obama’s CDC should terrify anyone actually sentient regarding Obamacare’s government seizure of America’s entire health care system.

Let’s take a break from Ebola politics and talk about how to actually protect yourself from it—from Ebola specifically and from any other viral contagion.

These precautions apply to any contagion:

  • Get a fever thermometer if you don’t already have one.  The infrared ear type is the most convenient and comes with disposable probe tips.
  • Minimize exposure to crowds, especially indoors.  Arrange to work at home if possible.
  • Have a 60 day supply of canned and dry food that you like and will be eating anyway.  Don’t buy survival foods that you will never eat except in a dire emergency because that isn’t the most likely thing to happen.
  • Always—always—use an alcohol-based germicidal hand wipe on the push bar of a shopping cart before touching it.  Supermarket cart push bars have more human pathogens than public toilets, both in numbers and varieties.
  • Wash your hands after handling mail.  Open envelopes and discard the envelopes.
  • Wash your hands frequently, and carry around an alcohol-based little bottle of hand-sanitizer.  Use it frequently—and focus on avoiding touching your face.  People touch their faces hundreds of times per day, usually without realizing it—yet most flu infections occur via hand-to-mouth, hand-to-nose, and hand-to-eye transmission.
  • Take 4,000 IU of vitamin D per day.  8,000 if Ebola comes to town. Start taking the D right now; it is fat soluble and takes time to build up in your system.  I’ve taken Pearson & Shaw’s Sun Power D3 for years, one 2000 IU cap with breakfast, another with dinner.Note also that vitamin D is involved with intelligence, especially in the aging brain.  See this study:  Vitamin D Prevents Cognitive Decline.
  • Take one gram (1,000mg) of vitamin C three times per day.  My C comes from their Personal Radical Shield formula which I’ve been taking for over three decades (6 caps 3xday, but that’s me—half that is good for most adults).

If there is an actual threat of Ebola in your area, where you work or live:

  • If you have any cuts or scrapes, make sure that they are well sealed when you go out in public.
  • Avoid public transportation like the plague.
  • Wear an antiviral face mask and latex gloves at all times when in public.  Wear long sleeve shirts, pants, and heavy socks when in public.  Immediately put in washing machine after each public use as soon as you come home using chlorine (not oxygen) bleach as per label. Get a gallon of Chlorox—it is more stable than most store brand chlorine bleaches.Do not wear your outdoor shoes or boots (better protection) in your home.  Change to house shoes or slippers at the entrance, then wash your hands. Unlike anthrax spores, Ebola virus particles aren’t sturdy.  They are easily killed.  The bad news is that it only takes a few Ebola virus particles to cause an infection.

These are extreme measures obviously—only when you’re faced with Ebola directly.

  • Further, there’s one more Pearson & Shaw formula  you should consider.  I take it when traveling or when I might be coming down with something.  What actually kills in many cases of severe viral infections is the cytokine stormoverreaction by your own immune system.  Their V-Shield formula is designed to prevent this.Pearson & Shaw’s essay, Defending Yourself Against Viral Infections, was written back in 2009 during the Swine Flu scare, but it is relevant today.  It explains the function of V-Shield ingredients regarding viral protection.
  • As a final note, I encourage you to read this paper just published (10/13) in the Journal of Pineal Research, Melatonin and Ebola Virus Disease.

Melatonin is an extremely interesting organic molecule.  It is immensely ancient, over 2.5 billion years old and is present in all known life forms from plants to bacteria to humans.  You may use it as a sleep aid in small doses from 1-3mg at night.  It has many healthful benefits, particularly as an anti-carcinogenic effective against prostate, breast, and other cancers.

In far larger doses, it may be quite effective at shutting down the “cytokine storm” that causes death by Ebola.

As the researchers describe, “melatonin directly targets all the immune-inflammatory responsive events associated with the Ebola virus infection.”

For this to be effective, oral doses of 20mg or more several times a day for a prolonged period would be required.  Such melatonin administration could result in the death rate of EVD (Ebola Virus Disease) being “significantly reduced.”

Melatonin is inexpensive and widely available.  GNC has it in a number of dosages—all the way up to 10mg.  I’ve been taking 1mg at bedtime for several years.

Okay—so there’s what you can do to protect yourself from illegal alien viruses and Ebola should they come your way.

Zero and his Democrats may not want you protected—Dems now seemed determined to block any Ebola travel ban—but you can take matters into your own hands as we all should.

Stay healthy.  Live long and prosper.
